this is a system for writing the minimalist constructed language toki pona where every syllable is written with a single ASCII character. since toki pona only has 232 (DEC92) syllables, it's one of the only languages where this is even possible. this system could hypothetically used as an input method for other toki pona writing systems, such as sitelen sitelen.

all the syllables shown in red are allowed by toki pona's phonotactics, but they do not appear in any toki pona words (as of when I made this, that is, which was before the release of the Toki Pona Dictionary). examples of words that the remaining syllables appear in are listed below.
